Today, SHIFT Work + Play, a coworking space designed for working parents and caregivers, announced it has opened its doors to serve Frederick County. SHIFT Work + Play was the “Idea Stage” winner of the 2022 SHE Pitch competition, a“Shark Tank” style contest organized by the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.

SHIFT Work + Play offers modern, flexible workspace options for busy professionals,entrepreneurs and their families. With affordable onsite babysitting services for children ages 2-6, a family work room for members with younger children, a comfortable lactation room and onsite parking, SHIFT Work + Play is breaking new ground when it comes to supporting working parents in Frederick County.

Founde Megan Donovan is a lawyer, lobbyist and mom to two young children. She created SHIFT Work + Play to fill a gap in available services for working parents: flexible, part-time options for families who don’t need full-time care.
