CHICAGO (PRWEB) November 06, 2018
Showpad, the leading sales enablement platform for modern sellers, has been included as one of the top 19 vendors in the October 2018 Gartner "Market Guide for Digital Content Management for Sales."
According to the report, “the size of the DCMS market has grown considerably in the past year. By the end of 2018, Gartner estimates that DCMS vendors will generate approximately $520 million in revenue, up by approximately 11% from the previous year.”
“Our goal from the start has been to provide the best buyer experience on the market, and it’s great to be recognized by Gartner. We feel the Market Guide clearly shows that the market is moving from point solutions to more holistic sales enablement platforms that focus on learning and training as well to drive overall sales excellence,” said Louis Jonckheere, Chief Product Officer of Showpad. “Over the past year, we’ve added some incredible new features, from our AR capabilities and the launch of Shared Spaces to our acquisition of LearnCore. These new features enable sales and marketing teams to work together seamlessly, which drives that better buyer journey and improves the effectiveness of sales teams.”
Gartner defines the Digital Content Management for Sales (DCMS) category through six capabilities: content repository management, development, delivery, usage analytics, and sales process integration and sales enablement platform. According to Gartner, “Digital content management for sales (DCMS) vendors continue to evolve with platform solutions, adding new API integrations with marketing automation and sales training solutions, and expanding functions for building custom sales applications.”1
Gartner’s recognition follows a successful year for Showpad. The company, which acquired LearnCore for $50 million over the summer to add training and coaching capabilities, has seen rapid growth globally, with the establishment of its North American headquarters in Chicago and new offices in Munich, Amsterdam and Wroclaw, Poland. Showpad recently placed 528th in the 2018 Inc. 5000 and was named in the top five on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50.
