Shweiki Media Printing Company is excited to announce that they have again partnered with Emancipet to serve as a sponsor for the nonprofit's sixth annual Sit Stay Day fundraiser.
This year's Sit Stay Day will take place February 12th. The premise of this fun fundraiser is a great idea that benefits an even greater cause. Popular local businesses donate food, beverages and goodies which, combined, make for a gourmet care package. Emancipet then compiles these goods into kits and delivers them to homes or offices. Anyone can order one of the kits for $175, and proceeds go towards helping Emancipet provide affordable, accessible spay/neuter and preventive care to pets in need.
Emancipet is a non-profit on a mission to make high-quality spay/neuter and preventive veterinary care affordable and accessible to every pet owner. Emancipet manages a network of high-quality, low-cost clinics, offers customized training programs, and advocates for prevention-based solutions to animal homelessness. In 2014, Emancipet had more than 50,000 visits at its healthy pet clinics and performed more than 25,000 spay/neuter surgeries; since 1999, Emancipet veterinarians have safely spayed or neutered more than 200,000 pets at little or no cost.
