The Certified Intelligent Automation Professional program was developed in partnership with Virtual Operations, experts in digital transformation and intelligent process automation. Geared toward the time-constrained professional, this six-week online program provides training on the steps to identify automation candidates and tools, including best practices to identify, design and develop an automation program.

A sampling of the program’s courses include:

  • Automation Program Approach
  • Opportunity Assessment
  • Delivery Lifecycle
  • Sustaining an Intelligent Process Automation Program

  • Anyone looking to transform operations through intelligent process automation.

“Enabling our clients to become adept at automation is a key part of our approach,’’ said James Swinford, CEO and Co-Founder of Virtual Operations. “Working together, we can achieve far more than either could by working in isolation. The program has modules specifically aimed at operations professionals and C-suite executives as well as rapidly upskilling the technical team. Working with SIG University has helped our enablement work to reach an even higher level as well as broaden our audience.”

“Smart people don’t want to do dumb work,” said SIG President and CEO Dawn Tiura, CSP, CSMP, C3PRMP. “By automating such tasks as invoice processing or accounts reconciliation, a correctly implemented intelligent process automation program will free up resources so your team can focus on the strategic tasks and business objectives that make an actual impact on the bottom line.”

SIG University was created at the request of SIG members who saw an educational training gap in today's workforce. Since its inception in 2016, SIG University has seen tremendous growth and organizational adoption, with over 1,000 students from over 150 companies representing 17 countries. Upon graduation, SIG University students earn an internationally recognized industry credential as a Certified Sourcing Professional (CSP), Certified Third Party Risk Management Professional (C3PRMP), Certified Supplier Management Professional (CSMP) or Certified Intelligent Process Automation Professional (CIAP).
