The acquisition represents SightMD's third office in Manhattan, with Dr. Sherman bringing 30+ years of ophthalmic experience to SightMD's growing team of over 80 providers and 38 convenient locations in the greater tri-state area.
Dr. Sherman is a New York native who has been serving the Upper East Side community for decades. He graduated from Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia College before founding his own practice. Throughout his esteemed career, Dr. Sherman served as a guest professor and lecturer at many leading medical institutions in the United States and around the world and published textbooks and articles in several major medical journals. He has been a cornerstone of his community for decades, providing kind and compassionate care to thousands of patients. Dr. Sherman is affiliated with Lenox Hill, North Shore LIJ and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospitals.
