Entertainment and employment litigator brings two decades of trial experience and a background as a professional musician to mediation and arbitration.
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Signature Resolution is proud to announce that Price K. Kent has joined our panel of neutrals, where she will serve as a mediator and arbitrator across a wide range of civil disputes. A trial attorney who has represented both plaintiffs and defendants for over two decades, following an earlier career as a professional musician, Price brings to every dispute a practical pairing of legal precision and an intuitive understanding of what parties need to reach a shared conclusion.
Price built her legal career across employment, probate, real estate, and civil litigation matters, serving as lead trial counsel in cases spanning labor and employment, copyright and trademark, real property, business torts, and government tort claims, before later founding her own trial practice representing clients in employment, defamation, right of publicity, copyright and trademark, probate, and real estate disputes. She has also handled matters through writs and appeals in courts across the state of California.
As a mediator, Price gives each case her full attention and quickly identifies the underlying goals driving each party, a skill carefully honed over decades performing alongside other highly skilled musicians, helping attorneys and their clients avoid the costly realities of a prolonged dispute. She brings to the table a collaborative instinct and a steadfast belief that listening is key, helping each party feel heard on the path toward a shared agreement.
"Price brings an exceptional level of attentiveness and practicality that makes resolution feel collaborative and achievable," said Dario Higuchi, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Signature Resolution. "We are very proud to welcome her to our panel."
Price serves as Program Chair on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Inn of Court and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, the Orange County Women Lawyers Association, the Lawyer's Club of San Diego, California Women Lawyers, and the American Bar Association. She previously served as President of the Whittier Law School Alumni Association.
Price earned her Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law, a Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine, where she was a Chancellor's Fellowship recipient, and a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance, also from UC Irvine.
