SiiLA Brasil, a comprehensive commercial real estate data and information platform, today announced the launch of its highly anticipated subscription access. The platform, which SiiLA promises will transform the commercial real estate industry in Brazil, allows users to access comprehensive property information including closed transactions, listings of available properties, relevant news, capital markets data, reference materials, and a social network of high-level real estate professionals.

SiiLA Brasil is led by Giancarlo Nicastro, who was named CEO of SiiLA in April after stepping down from his executive management role with Cyrela Commercial Properties. The early adopters who have already signed up to become users of the platform include a mixture of local brokerage firms, developers, pension funds, corporations, appraisers, attorneys, private investors, insurers, financial institutions and financial auditors.

Some of SiiLA Brasil’s more noteworthy supporters include the full service real estate platforms of Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers International, market leaders in valuation and intermediation of high-end corporate real estate. The platform has also partnered with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a worldwide organization committed to promoting professional standards and transparency in the real estate industry.

The CEO of Cushman & Wakefield’s South America Region, Celina Antunes remarked, "I am really impressed with SiiLA Brasil, it is wonderful to have an independent research source collecting information directly from institutional market participants, many of whom are also members of the platform themselves.”

According to Ricardo Betancourt, the President of Colliers International in Brazil, the prospect of having so much information on a single platform offers commercial real estate professionals in Brazil an unprecedented level of transparency and convenience. “We are certain that SiiLA Brasil will make an important impact on the market by improving the services and information we can offer our clients,” said Mr. Betancourt.

Márcia Ferrari, Head of Development Latin America, says RICS is a proud sponsor of SiiLA Brasil: “In Brazil there is tremendous demand for quality information, information that is necessary for the market to achieve its full potential.”

Subscribers will have the ability to access information on institutional quality commercial real estate including office buildings, industrial facilities, and shopping centers throughout Brazil; all with a few clicks.
