Silicon Valley to Host LocWorld
Sandpoint, ID (PRWEB) October 13, 2017 -- Approximately 700 global business executives from 45 countries are expected to attend this autumn’s LocWorld in Santa Clara, November 1-3.
The conference, which features six concurrent tracks with nine topic areas, has a special focus on continuous delivery.
LocWorld brings together delegates who are engaged in the business of adapting products, services and communications to an international language or culture so as to appear native to that particular region. Speakers at the conference include representatives from ADP, Adobe Systems, Box, Dell, Facebook, GoPro, Medtronic, Microsoft, Netflix, Oracle, PayPal, Tableau Software and other notable companies.
The conference, produced by MultiLingual Computing, Inc., and The Localization Institute, will be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
Erica Orange, executive vice president and chief operating officer of The Future Hunters, one of the world’s leading futurist consulting firms, will deliver the keynote, The Future Begins Now. Erica will talk about the pace of change in a broad context and discuss several emerging trends that are revolutionizing the future and how the current landscape will be transformed.
The preconference day will include round tables on sales and marketing, life sciences business and game localization. There will also be a forum on localization processes, sessions on project management, attracting and developing talent, localization thinking for startups and neural MT transformation.

A Process Innovation Challenge will be held where shortlisted process innovators will pitch their innovative process ideas to a panel and the audience, and the panel will vote for their favorite. The top two will go through to the final round on day two, to be named as the LocWorld Process Innovator for North America 2017.
