Silvon Unveils User-Driven Report Scheduler and Broadcaster

(http://www.silvon.com/) has unveiled an add-on solution to its Stratum suite of business intelligence software that provides another entry in Silvon’s Flexible Information Delivery strategy for allowing business managers, analysts and others to gain visibility to BI information and to share that information without having to rely on their IT staffs to do so. Called Stratum Broadcast Server, the new offering builds on the existing basic information distribution features of the Silvon Stratum BI system, enabling users to schedule and send business analytics to other users inside the business and to partners, vendors and others external to the organization who may not use Stratum as their business intelligence system of record.
Reports can be scheduled for immediate distribution or for nightly, weekly, monthly, etc. delivery on a regular or one-time basis. Distribution groups are supported with the ability to mix and match groups for added flexibility during the report distribution process. Multiple reports can be combined into a single deliverable such as an Executive Daily Flash packet. In addition, Stratum Broadcast Server supports distribution of alerts (called Actions in Stratum) containing analytical views of supporting data so users can easily view and take action on critical issues. While the new solution offers user-level management of broadcast information and schedules, administrative-level control by IT is supported as well.
