Simmons and Fletcher Attorneys Receive Top Lawyer Award
H Texas Magazine recognizes Simmons and Fletcher Attorneys with Top Lawyer Award
HOUSTON, Feb. 16, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- H Texas Magazine has awarded "Top Lawyer" recognition to each of the staff attorneys of Houston-area personal injury law firm Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. The magazine featured the award recipients in the November 2019 issue.
The Top Lawyer award recognizes Houston-area attorneys who excel in their area of practice. Nominees are submitted from peers and clients. The magazine holds an election, selecting the top 2 percent of attorneys in each category to receive the honor.
The following Simmons and Fletcher attorneys received the H Texas Magazine 2019 Top Lawyer Award:
Robert S. Simmons – Personal Injury
Robert S. Simmons earned a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1966. He founded the law firm that became Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. in 1974. He previously received the Top Lawyer Award from H Texas Magazine in 2014 and 2015.
Sharon Simmons-Cantrell – Personal Injury
Sharon Simmons-Cantrell leads the pre-litigation division at Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. She has practiced law for 19 years and has received the Top Lawyer honor from H Texas Magazine every year from 2013-2019.
Paul H. Cannon – Personal Injury
Paul H. Cannon joined Simmons and Fletcher, P.C. in 1995. He is a board-certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer. Paul has contributed legal expertise and commentary to numerous publications including the Texas Bar Journal and Lawyer.com. He previously received H Texas Magazine's Top Lawyer Award in 2013.
Christopher K. Fletcher – Personal Injury
Christopher K. Fletcher received his law degree with a special concentration in civil litigation from Baylor University School of Law in 2009. The National Trial Lawyers has recognized him in their Top 40 Under 40 list since 2016. H Texas Magazine has awarded him a Top Lawyer honor every year since from 2013-2019.
Rebecca L. Todd – Personal Injury
Rebecca L. Todd earned a law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2016. Rebecca has been published in the Texas Journal of Business Law and was a finalist in the Closing Argument Competition at Harvard Law in 2015. This is the first time she has received the Top Lawyer Award from H Texas Magazine.
