Painchaud is a veteran in the 3D development industry and will guide Simutech's development of its new web-based 3D simulations.
Painchaud - who has over 20 years in design, development and deployment of diverse simulations and serious games in manufacturing, health care, education, and media production - will oversee Simutech's research and development team and help Simutech expand its Simulation training offering. His expertise in the field of game engines and Unity development will enable Simutech to offer customers multi-platform deployments of its award-winning training system including computer-based, web-based, and in virtual reality.

Painchaud holds a Master's degree in Project Management from ESG UQAM, a Graduate Certificate in Computer Graphics, and a Bachelor's in Math and Computer Science from Université de Sherbrooke.
