New Start-up Aims to Transform Wine Buying Experience for Socially Conscious Consumers in Support of Businesses Impacted by the Pandemic

Sip Wines today announced a launch of the new wine e-commerce platform aimed at placing community, social, and environmental core values in the forefront, as it paves the way for a groundbreaking movement and impactful experience in purchasing wine. Inspired from the devastating impact of the pandemic and wildfires on the wine industry, Sip Wines CEO and Developer, Justine DiPrete is leading this mission by partnering with small independent U.S. based wine producers (under 20,000 cases per year) to bring a diverse group of wine makers and their wine to consumers, akin to being a socially conscious matchmaker for wine.

With Sip Wines, consumers are now able to search wineries and wine based on Sip’s standards of sustainable practices, renewable energy, community impact, and diversity. Recognizing the need to create a positive change, Justine DiPrete is focused on championing women and other historically underrepresented owners, producers, and makers within the wine industry.

For local wine producers that are dealing with those impacts, Sip Wines aims to support by making it easier for our partners to reach like-minded consumers and drive revenue opportunities, particularly for minority and underrepresented businesses.”

As the percentage of wine consumers in their 20s, 30s, and 40s increases, as does the demand for environmental and socially responsible practices. Sip Wines bridges that gap between those consumers and the wine industry with greater accessibility and ease of discovery. Through Justine DiPrete’s extensive engineering background, she was able take an innovative approach in building the platform from the ground up with an emphasis on consumer experience and values matching those of the wine producers it promotes, driving the mission of a new value forward consumer path to purchase.
