Tripleseat, the leading web-based event sales and management platform in hospitality, has released its top rated brunch spots in the Big Apple ahead of Mother’s Day weekend.

While for some mothers, the tradition of breakfast in bed remains status quo, for many others it can be fun to indulge in heading somewhere special to celebrate their day. Below, Tripleseat has rounded up some of its favorite mom-approved spots that can’t be missed:

1. The Clocktower: Located in the New York EDITION, Chef Jason Atherton offers a Mother’s Day brunch menu for $55 per adult, $25 per child with three courses that includes eggs royale and fish and chips, as well as a specialty dessert buffet. There’s also a craft station for kids who want to make mom’s Mother’s Day card themselves.

2. David Burke Tavern: Situated on the first two stories of a stately townhouse on New York City’s Upper East Side, the restaurant showcases Burke’s creative and contemporary approach to classic fare – often with showstopping presentations. The restaurant is offering a special Mother’s Day menu that includes three courses for $55 and options such as oysters bloody Mary, crispy chicken and waffles, and a lobster scramble.

3. Estela: Set above Houston Street, the lively restaurant serves a New-American menu, cooked with a personal approach that incorporates the many diverse experiences and cultures of New York City. Their brunch menu ranges from daring dishes like oysters with yuzu kosho mignonette to a more familiar egg pancetta, and avocado sandwich.

4. La Mercerie Cafe: If mom is in the mood for pastries, take a look at La Mercerie Cafe, located inside Roman and Williams Guild in Soho. The restaurant offers three types of croissants, brioches, pain au chocolat, breakfast plates, eggs, and a selection of brunch cocktails.

5. The NoMad Restaurant: The NoMad hotel’s restaurant has a casually-elegant food and beverage program, with a brunch menu that includes shareable fare for the table, a selection of main courses, and eggs just about any way you want them.

6. Vaucluse: A stylish brasserie by Altamarea Group located on Park Avenue with a menu that balances French cuisine that’s fine-tuned for urban diners. Their Mother’s Day menu is a $75 for three-courses, with enough choices for hors d’oeuvres, main dishes, sides and desserts to provide something for everyone.

“Mother’s Day is a time to remember the importance and significance of mothers in our lives and there’s no better way to do that than around the table enjoying delicious food at a great restaurant,” says CEO Jonathan Morse. “Research found that 87 million adults dine out on Mother’s Day, and nearly 50% prefer to dine out with their families, so restaurants can expect a high volume of reservations, increase in revenue and hungry mouths to feed this Sunday.”
