SJC Marketing Develops Solution to Solve the “Volunteer Management” Problem for Nonprofits
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (PRWEB) October 30, 2018 -- SJC Marketing is excited to announce the release of an online app designed to solve the volunteer problems of every small- to medium-sized nonprofit.
Many nonprofit organizations say they love their volunteers. They also say finding the time and resources to effectively manage volunteer projects and hours is a significant challenge. Existing solutions are either too expensive or too complicated.
“With 25 years of combined experience in working with nonprofit organizations, we continue to see a similar problem among volunteer management,” says Susan J. Campbell, president of SJC Marketing. “Either an organization doesn’t have the resources for a volunteer coordinator, or if they do have this position, streamlining communication, keeping multiple events organized and finding the time to recruit new volunteers becomes a burden. Our solution streamlines this process and leaves more time for expanding volunteer connections.”
Small- to medium-size nonprofits are among the most budget-conscious organizations, which means investing in enterprise solutions to manage volunteers is not usually an option. However, effective communication with volunteers is a crucial piece for nonprofits. SJC Marketing recently developed a streamlined solution to assist them in managing volunteers effectively.
The new proprietary solution, called Servely, is custom-created to allow a more simplified and effective volunteer experience than is currently available. An organization is provided an easy-to-use dashboard that helps them manage their volunteer events on the backside of the site, and what the volunteers see on front side is simple, seamless and clear. The volunteers can scroll through, select the events they’ll attend and find out who else is attending in real-time.
Another perk is that groups can easily register, too. Real-time notifications and reminders are sent to individual event registrants. Scrolling through several upcoming events at once encourages higher participation and allows the organization to plan ahead for volunteer recruitment “holes.” Additionally, there are several other add-on features that can be tailored to fit the organization’s needs
“We purposefully built this with many features that will benefit nonprofits, especially those classified as small- to medium-sized,” said Campbell. “We believe this solution is perfect for organizations that like more control over how they manage volunteers, but aren’t interested in investing in a complex and expensive enterprise solution.”
While gaining access to the portal is affordable, that doesn’t mean it lacks options. It’s easy to navigate, but rich in tools that nonprofits can use to improve volunteer management.
“We have worked with nonprofits for years and we’re excited to be able to offer them something that will help them reach their goals, and without putting a strain on their operating budget,” says Campbell.
