LEESBURG, Va., July 28, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- John Kett, CEO and President of IAA, Inc. (NYSE: IAA), was elected to serve as Vice President of the SkillsUSA Board of Directors at the board's June 21 meeting during the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference in Atlanta.

Kett is the CEO and President of IAA, a leading global digital marketplace connecting vehicle buyers and sellers. He has worked with IAA for 21 years and has demonstrated skills in finance, negotiations, management, strategic planning and business development. Kett formerly served as IAA's Senior Vice President of Planning and Business Development, CFO and President. He also sits on the Northern Illinois University Board of Executive Advisors and the Ravinia Board of Trustees, as well as its DEI subcommittee. Kett is also an active member of the Economic Club of Chicago, Alliance of Chief Executives, and is a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development (CED). Prior to joining IAA, Kett held senior financial roles at Central Steel and Wire Co., and Safelite Glass Corporation, Newark Electronics and Deloitte LLP. He holds a master's degree from Northwestern University and a B.S. from Northern Illinois University.
