Danielle Gronich, co-founder and CEO of CLEARSTEM Skincare, joins ATIKA's Advisory Board as the company advances its evidence-based approach to skin longevity from within.
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ATIKA Inc., the skin-nutrition company advancing a science-backed approach to skin longevity from within, today announced the appointment of Danielle Gronich, co-founder, CEO and chief formulator of CLEARSTEM Skincare, to its Advisory Board.
Known as "The Acne Guru®," Gronich brings more than a decade of experience spanning clinical skincare, product formulation, consumer education and brand building. She is also the founder of the San Diego Acne Clinic and has built her career around a comprehensive approach to skin that considers both internal and external factors.
"Danielle has built tremendous trust by combining deep knowledge of skin with an instinctive understanding of what consumers actually need," said Lily Shapiro, PharmD, founder and CEO of ATIKA. "She recognized early that skin cannot be addressed through a single product, ingredient or pathway. Her experience building CLEARSTEM and educating consumers about skin from both the inside and outside makes her an exceptionally valuable advisor as ATIKA enters its next phase of growth."
As an advisor, Gronich will draw on her experience in skincare formulation, consumer education and brand building to help ATIKA expand its presence across the beauty and wellness market and further develop its approach to comprehensive skin nutrition.
"ATIKA reflects the direction in which I believe skincare is moving: toward a more complete understanding of the relationship between what we apply topically and how we support skin from within," said Gronich. "Lily has approached the category with an extraordinary level of scientific rigor and intention. I'm excited to support her vision and help bring this more comprehensive approach to skin longevity to a broader audience."
Shapiro, a pharmacist and Wharton MBA, founded ATIKA after reviewing hundreds of studies spanning skin aging, oxidative stress, barrier function and photoaging. That research informed ATIKA's proprietary CALM Framework™ — Collagen Integrity, Antioxidant Defense, Lipid Barrier Health and Mitochondrial Support — a multi-pathway approach to supporting skin longevity from within. ATIKA's current product architecture reflects those four pillars.
Gronich's appointment comes as ATIKA expands its consumer, professional and retail presence and works to establish a broader model of skin nutrition that extends beyond collagen alone.
