Perform Better., a digital resource center featuring information and tools to help youth achieve better sleep and improve their health, well-being and academic performance.
Sleep Number and Healthier Generation developed the resource center in response to the sleep deficit affecting kids today. A recent survey found that 70% of youth don't get enough sleep – seven hours or less on school nights versus the recommended eight to nine hours. This shortage adds up to almost a full night of sleep lost each week and can lead to health issues including obesity, diabetes, and problems with attention and behavior. Developing quality sleep habits can help reduce these risks and improve our kids' mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
