Smart IMS Acquires Atlas Communications Adding Cloud and Increasing Managed Services Capabilities

The companies had been working together for several years before they established Atlas Smart IMS (ASIMS), and based on the success of that joint venture, agreed to bring all the companies together to accelerate growth.

Atlas will continue to operate as a separate brand within Smart IMS, and will be led by Indrajit “I.G.” Ghosh, most recently CTO of Atlas, focusing on the growth of cloud and managed services. The companies are consolidating their offices to Smart IMS' global headquarters in Plainsboro, New Jersey where the teams will join forces, working together as the companies continue to grow in 2016 and beyond.
