Smarter Alloys Inc Secures Medical Device Licence For New Paradigm Quantum Endodontic File
CAMBRIDGE, Ontario (PRWEB) January 24, 2021 -- Smarter Alloys Inc. is proud to announce that the Quantum endodontic file has been added to the Paradigm family Medical Device Licence granted by Health Canada.
The Paradigm Quantum endodontic file is treated with the same LaserFlex technology used in the BX-series for a balance of flexibility, torsional strength, durability and cutting edge retention. The LaserFlex technology that produces the BX-series microstructure eliminates the trade-offs found in regular heat-treated nickel-titanium files, such as poor torsional strength, unwinding and rapid edge wear or deformation. These issues may result in poor canal cleaning, binding and file separation.
The Paradigm Quantum uses a reciprocating motion for exceptional confidence in instrumentation of the most difficult canals. The hybrid microstructure provides higher torsional resilience and resistance to separation, a harder cutting edge to stay sharp longer for improved cleaning, and greater flexibility for navigating tortuous paths.
Dr. Ibraheem Khan, CEO of Smarter Alloys says “Our LaserFlex technology decouples file flexibility from geometry, enabling a new paradigm of control. The result is a superior file that can seamlessly integrate into the endodontic workflow. With Paradigm, clinicians can now confidently achieve better patient outcomes without additional costs or complexity”
Paradigm endodontic files are available in the US and Canada. Smarter Alloys is certified to ISO 13485:2016 for medical devices and registered with the FDA.
