SmartMouth Gives Back to Local Food Bank to Provide Food and Dental Products
SmartMouth Oral Health Laboratories attended a food drive Wednesday, Dec. 12, to donate to Operation Food Search. SmartMouth made a monetary donation and provided their products as well. This monetary donation of $1,000 will provide food for 200 children for a weekend.
ST. LOUIS, Dec. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The SmartMouth products will be included in the Operation Backpack program. This program supplies children with a backpack of "kid-friendly", yet nutritious foods to provide them with meals during the weekend when school meals are not available. When possible, dental care products are included in the backpacks because families that struggle with food insecurity also tend to struggle to visit the dentist on a regular basis. Providing SmartMouth products in these backpacks will help alleviate this issue. SmartMouth products are made using patented zinc ion technology that prevents bad breath for 12 hours per use. SmartMouth's Clinical DDS formula, in particular, prevents plaque accumulation and helps prevent gingivitis.

The event was hosted by the Dave Glover Show for their 2018 DGS Holiday Food Drive. The food drive goes until Dec. 21 at select Hardee's locations. Operation Food Search will be there collecting canned goods and nonperishable food items as well as monetary donations. The Dave Glover Show is a talk radio program on KFTK/97.1 FM weekdays from 3-7 p.m.
Operation Food Search is a nonprofit organization located in Overland, Missouri dedicated to providing food to over 200,000 people every month in the bistate area. Operation Food Search relies heavily on donations from the community with 98 cents of every dollar donated going towards programs and services.
