Smiles for Everyone Foundation Receives Donation from Henry Schein, Inc.
IRVINE, Calif. (PRWEB) May 15, 2018 -- The Smiles for Everyone Foundation recently received a donation of dental supplies from Henry Schein, Inc. valued at $35,000 that will aid in delivering free dental care to people in need through the Smiles for Everyone Foundation’s Day of Giving program.
As part of the Community Smile Project, the Day of Giving events are free dental clinics hosted at Smile Brands Inc.'s affiliated dental offices across the country. During a Day of Giving, Smile Brands Inc.’s affiliated dental providers and support staff from around the area gather at one central office to provide free dental care for low-income, underserved people around the community. So far in 2018, the Days of Giving have served over 500 individuals, delivering over $500,000 in donated dentistry.
The donation contains a range of dental products and is an initiative of Henry Schein Cares, the company’s global corporate social responsibility program. The donated products will support multiple Days of Giving in 2018, which will allow the Smiles for Everyone Foundation to allocate the funds that would have been used for these supplies towards expanding programs and serving more communities in need.
