Founded in 1991, SBJ services clients in cooperative and condominium matters, real estate, corporate law, litigation, labor and employment and bankruptcy. With offices in Manhattan, Yonkers, Garden City, and a new location in SoHo, the firm combines superlative legal service with a practical approach to delivering real-world solutions that ensure value to its large and prestigious client base of developers, condominiums and cooperatives, companies, municipalities and high-profile individuals.
For over 35 years, Baisley Law Group has provided legal representation to residential and commercial property owners who are buying, selling, mortgaging, leasing, and developing land and buildings throughout the New York area.
As a subspecialty, Founder Margaret D. Baisley, Esq. also represents artists and non-artists living in Joint Living/Working Quarters and seeking certification by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs to occupy lofts in Soho and Noho. Ilene H. Guralnick, Esq. has joined SBJ's Cooperative & Condominium, Real Estate and Land Use, and Litigation & Appeals practices. She has represented thousands of real estate clients throughout New York State, with particular emphasis on representation of cooperative housing corporations and condominium boards, tenant associations in cooperative and condominium conversions, tenant associations in civil litigation in both Civil and Supreme Court, and both commercial and residential leasing matters.
