Social Media Agency fishbat Named “Rookie Of the Year” by HIA-LI
Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) August 24, 2013 -- On August 24, social media agency fishbat was named “Rookie of the Year” by the Hauppauge Industrial Association (HIA-LI) as part of the organization’s annual Business Achievement Awards.
Due to its success in the digital marketing realm after only two years of business, fishbat was crowned the winner of one of the HIA-LI’s most prestigious business achievement awards. Each year, the HIA recognizes the most successful businesses on Long Island. These awards are separated into four different categories: Large Business Achievement, Small Business Achievement, Not-for-Profit Business Achievement and Rookie of the Year.
Clay Darrohn, CEO and “Big Tuna” at fishbat, a leading social media agency, says, “We’re so honored to receive this award from the HIA and we thank them for considering us in this category. We started this business two years ago and have come such a long way. We work hard every day and continually deliver high quality services to all of our clients. This award is a true testament to how hard work pays off and we are so proud to be 2013’s Rookie of the Year.”
From a startup with four partners to a firm with over 40 employees, fishbat has grown tremendously. It is one of Long Island’s only dynamic, full-service online marketing companies. Since its establishment in 2011, it has enhanced the online presence of all of its clients through efficient social media, SEO, public relations, Web development and video production services. Through cutting-edge online marketing strategies, fishbat helped Spartan Race, a popular obstacle course racing series, gain worldwide popularity and nearly 3 million fans. After implementing a social media sampling campaign, fishbat assisted in gaining NewVo Beauty, an online beauty supply store, over 65,000 “likes” in two months on Facebook.
“This award means so much to us,” Darrohn says. “However, we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish such great things without such a supportive team of employees. We thank them for making this all possible. We would also like to congratulate all of the other nominees and winners. Together we can help the Long Island business community flourish!”
fishbat, as well as the other winners, will receive the awards at the HIA-LI's 19th Annual Business Achievement Awards Gala Luncheon on Thursday, September 12 from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY.
