Latest Patent covers a system for menu styles that comprise a plurality of formatting aspects for menus.
CABIN JOHN, Md., Dec. 5, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SoftCafe, LLC announced today the issuance to it by the US Patent Office of a patent that covers the menu design and creation software utilized in their online menu app iMenuPro.
The patent for invention number 12,159,024 relates to a menu creation and design system and, more particularly, to the design and formatting of menus using a menu style system that includes a plurality of formatting aspects, applied all at once.
"This patent includes claims related to our technology, which allows menus to be created using drag and drop in combination with our unique menu style system, enabling a user to select a menu design with their current content in a single click." said Scott Tyburski, co-founder of SoftCafe, LLC.
iMenuPro from SoftCafe is an online app that lets restaurants, hotels, and other service orientated businesses offer instant menus to their customers. This patent more specifically covers its menu style selection and an instant preview capability, allowing users to apply pre-design formatting elements (called menu styles) to their existing menu. This lets users try out different designs using their actual menu content, rather than having to hunt through hundreds of pre-populated canned menu templates which may, or may not, work for their specific content needs.
"The graphic design apps that have been popping up on the web for the last few years are great for one-off documents like flyers, social media posts, postcards, etc. But they're not practical for real-world menus that require frequent updates due to changing food costs or item availability", said Mr. Tyburski.
