COLUMBIA, S.C., Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Softdocs, the education-focused provider of enterprise content management solutions, capitalized on incredible momentum of migrations from other ECM solutions and increased market demand for cloud-based technologies to significantly grow their customer base in 2018. Combined, 54 new educational institutions chose to partner with Softdocs. The majority of these new customers opted to deploy Etrieve Cloud, Softdocs' designed-for-education cloud ECM platform.
Having received the 2018 Ellucian "Customer First" Partner of the Year Award for working to ensure institutional success and recognized as "Ready to Engage" for integration with Ellucian Banner and Ellucian Colleague through Ellucian Ethos, Softdocs seeks to continue their growth in education-focused document management, e-forms and workflow solutions.
"As we serve educational institutions using all major ERP and SIS solutions, developing robust partnerships with leading solution providers is central to our customers' success. These partnerships reinforce that Softdocs continues to evolve as our customers evolve their technology portfolios, adopting new strategies and integration methods," said Softdocs President and Chief Executive Officer, Mike Murphy.
To facilitate continued growth within the education marketplace, Softdocs announced the hiring of higher education veteran Laurel Stiller as the company's new vice president of marketing. Stiller brings nearly 30 years of career experience in higher education institutions and technology companies to bear in expanding the footprint of Softdocs across the education marketplace. Stiller has previously held various information technology roles at Dickinson College and the University of Oregon Foundation, as well as sales and marketing roles at Datatel, Ellucian, Hyland Software and SAP Concur.
"Laurel's addition to our executive team further underscores our deep commitment to the education marketplace," said Softdocs Executive Vice President, Robert Satcher. "We're excited about the experience, industry knowledge and passion that Laurel brings to the team."
"After years of working with institutions and the breadth of their ERP, I deliberately chose the path of ECM," said Stiller. "ECM can reach every corner of a campus, improve the most complex processes and can bring the agility every educational institution needs to thrive against the rising pressures we, in higher education, are facing. I'm proud to join Softdocs to serve education and showcase client success."
