eDiscovery Data Quadrant reveals top seven leaders according to reviews by software users.

In general, eDiscovery software users were most satisfied with usability and intuitiveness– and were most dissatisfied with product strategy and rate of improvement, chain of custody preservation, legal hold, and optical character recognition.

SoftwareReviews, a division of world-class IT research and consulting firm Info-Tech Research Group, has published its 2020 eDiscovery Data Quadrant Awards, naming seven vendors as Gold Medalists.. The following vendors are leaders according to the feedback provided by their end users via SoftwareReviews’ comprehensive online survey. Vendors were rated on their product features, vendor capabilities, and the relationship with their software partner:

Epiq, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +95, performed well overall, receiving top product in optical character recognition. GoldFynch, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +82, received top product in breadth of features, and product strategy and rate of improvement. D4 eDiscovery with a Net Emotional Footprint of +88, earned a very high score in classification and data parsing. Nuix Discover with a Net Emotional Footprint of +87, earned high scores in usability and intuitiveness, and received top product in native format. OpenText eDiscovery with a Net Emotional Footprint of +84, performed exceptionally overall and received top product in vendor support, and review. Sherpa eDiscovery with a Net Emotional Footprint of +82, earned top product in quality of features.
