This creates a powerful indicator of how software users truly feel about the vendor and its product. SoftwareReviews calls this insight the Net Emotional Footprint.

GoAnywhere MFT, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +90, has performed exceptionally by constantly over-delivering to software users and leading other vendors in being altruistic, generous, and inspiring. Progress MOVEit, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +87, also performed remarkably across all categories, particularly in continually improving and including product enhancement. Globalscape EFT, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +83, impressed users by ranking as top product in 13 categories with perfect scores in integrity, security protection, enabling productivity, effectiveness, reliability, fairness, and trustworthiness.

In general, Managed File Transfer software users were most satisfied with vendors being reliable, and were most dissatisfied with vendors overpromising.
