SoftwareReviews, a division of world-class IT research and consulting firm Info-Tech Research Group, has published its 2020 Web Experience Management Emotional Footprint Awards, naming nine vendors as champions. The following vendors are leaders according to the feedback provided by their end users via SoftwareReviews’ comprehensive online survey. Vendors were rated on the relationship with their software partner, along with the value provided by the software to the customer organization:

What makes the SoftwareReviews Emotional Footprint different? Inclusion of aggregated emotional response ratings in the areas of service, negotiation, product impact, conflict resolution, and strategy and innovation. Together they create a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and its product from the software users’ point of view. SoftwareReviews calls this insight the Net Emotional Footprint.

concrete5, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +95, has performed exceptionally in all categories, specifically exceeding expectations in being respectful and inspiring. Episerver, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +91, also performed remarkably across all categories, particularly in having unique features, client interest first, and being efficient and altruistic. Enonic Xp, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +90, is noted for continually improving its product and ranked number one in being effective, caring, and having security user’s feel protects. Bloomreach with a Net Emotional Footprint of +90, earned the strongest positive emotions in being fair and effective.

With Squarespace earning a Net Emotional Footprint of +91, users were impressed by the vendor’s integrity and performance enhancing capabilities. Weebly, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +89, performed well overall, satisfying users by being reliable and generous and effective in saving time. Evoq Content, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +88, satisfied users in being friendly in negotiation and being fair. Kentico Xperience, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +86, earned the strongest positive emotions in being trustworthy and respectful, while ranking on top in being transparent. Progress Sitefinity, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +89, increased user experience by enabling productivity and efficiency.

In general, Web Experience Management software users were most satisfied with vendors being respectful – and were most dissatisfied with vendors overpromising.
