"2020 has been a challenging year for HR, but also a year of opportunity. When the world went remote in 2020, HR suddenly became even more important to tracking, managing, and engaging an organization's greatest asset: its people. HCM is a key part of that," said William Howard, senior manager, HR Research and Advisory, McLean & Company. "The case for investment in HCM technology has never been stronger, but the market has also never been more complex to navigate. New vendors with exciting new technology are entering the market, and established players are consolidating, creating a constantly evolving landscape. As such, it's more important than ever to carefully and thoroughly explore the HCM landscape to find the vendor and technology that best fits your strategic priorities."
