TORONTO, Jan. 14, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SoftwareReviews, a division of world-class IT research and consulting firm Info-Tech Research Group, has published its 2021 Privacy Program Management Emotional Footprint Awards, naming three vendors as champions. The following vendors are leaders according to the feedback provided by their end users via SoftwareReviews' comprehensive online survey:
- Proteus NextGen Data Privacy
- Smart Global Privacy
- OneTrust Privacy Management
What makes the SoftwareReviews Data Quadrant different? We include aggregated emotional response ratings in the areas of service, negotiation, product impact, conflict resolution, and strategy and innovation to create a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and its product – all from the software users' point of view. We call this insight the Net Emotional Footprint.
"Thanks to the fast-changing data privacy landscape, our increasingly connected work and home lives, and greater end-user awareness of how personal data is being used, strong data privacy program management has never been more crucial," said Cassandra Cooper, senior research analyst, Info-Tech Research Group. "To effectively manage these exploding volumes of data and adhere to the long and growing list of data privacy regulations, business and IT leaders alike are increasingly turning towards software solutions that manage personal data and optimize data mapping and discovery. These solutions are essential for maximizing data privacy program performance and privacy compliance, as well as solidifying employee, customer, and end-user trust."
Proteus NextGen Data Privacy, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +96, was top-ranked for efficiency, saving time, product enhancement, innovation, security, and reliability. Smart Global Privacy, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +92, was recognized for trustworthiness, performance enhancement, and continuous improvement. OneTrust Privacy Management, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +86, scored strongly for respectfulness and integrity.
In general, Privacy Program Management users were most satisfied with vendors being respectful and showing integrity – and were most dissatisfied with vendors over-promising.
About SoftwareReviews Emotional Footprint Awards and Software Reports:
