Three 3.5-hour shortened events will be hosted to give attendees a feel for the full two-day experience.

In 2019, a team from Softway spent over 5 months traveling around the world hosting leadership training for over 1000 leaders from 46 different countries. The inclusive leadership behavior training sessions, called Seneca Leaders, is a highly-acclaimed two-day experience. 97% of leaders around the world agree - this training gave them tools to be better leaders.

As practitioners rather than academics, the facilitators teach from real-world experiences. The teaching style is empathetic, with examples stemming from relevant leadership insights that are both relatable and actionable. They even discuss “taboo” topics that other leadership trainings shy away from—like leadership misbehaviors and unforgiveness.

“In 2016 we started a journey to transform our culture from the top down,” said Mohammad Anwar, CEO of Softway. “By 2018, our clients were asking us to create a similar experience for them and their particular cultural needs. That’s when Seneca Leaders was born.”

During the two-day event, topics like vulnerability, psychological safety, inclusion, and servant leadership are explored and discussed. These universal concepts are delivered in simple and approachable ways—and act as a catalyst to build inclusive leaders and resilient organizations.

“For me, this is an opportunity to get away and think about leadership, and leadership in its truest form isn’t about us as leaders, it’s about the people that we serve,” mentioned one Seneca Leaders attendee. “This was an opportunity to reflect on that, to get some tips and tools that I can take and apply in the next stage of leadership. Hopefully, the true test will be what my folks see in me that changed.”

Now, during the ongoing global pandemic, the Seneca Leaders experience has shifted to a two-day virtual leadership training experience.

“We’ve cracked the code on hosting engaging virtual sessions,” said Chris Pitre, VP at Softway. “We re-structured the session for a totally virtual environment to ensure attendees feel safe sharing, as well as listening to one another, and have included an interactive mobile app that coincides with the experience itself, allowing participants to engage with the virtual session in new ways.”

For those interested in bringing Seneca Leaders to their organizations, Softway has now begun to offer Seneca Leaders mini-events to showcase the distinct differences that this leadership training offers in a condensed format. During the month of October, Softway will be hosting three shortened Seneca Leaders events.

Each 3.5-hour “mini-session” will give attendees a better grasp of how Seneca Leaders can become a catalyst for organizational culture change—starting with leadership. The team at Softway hopes that people will start their journey by attending this free session and continue the journey with the full 2-day experience. Attendance is capped at 25 attendees per event, space is extremely limited.
