Kunkle brings more than 15 years of experience to the Somatus team. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic, where he oversaw more than $4 billion in operating revenue for the 750,000 member integrated health plan. Prior to that, he held executive leadership positions at Aetna and Coventry Health Care. Kunkle brings a proven track record of leading financial departments at high-growth health care companies and a deep understanding of the managed care landscape to Somatus. This experience will be critical to the company's continued growth through the establishment of outcomes-based partnerships with leading health plans, health systems, and provider groups.
