SongVest Launches Music Royalty Marketplace

SongVest launches as online marketplace for selling music royalties to investors.

In the last two months I have had a flood of calls from both buyers and sellers.

SongVest is re-launching as a marketplace for selling music catalogs, record labels/master catalogs, and providing financing for catalog purchases.

Sean Peace started SongVest back in 2007 as the first marketplace to sell fractional royalties as the ultimate in music memorabilia. This eventually turned into Royalty Exchange, the first marketplace to sell music royalties to investors which he sold in 2015.

Continuing to stay connected through private sales and catalog appraisals, things hit a tipping point with the Corona Virus economic hardships that made him look into re-launching SongVest as a true music marketplace.

“In the last two months I have had a flood of calls from both buyers and sellers looking for transactions. Although we will have a wide range of catalogs for sale, the main focus will be on larger catalogs and masters with life of rights sales,” said Sean Peace. “In addition, we will be providing investors access to financing for catalog sales on any platform, not just ours.”

SongVest currently has a multi-million dollar masters catalog for sale as well as a catalog featuring songs performed by Nicki Minaj and Drake that will end at auction this Thursday.
