The role of procurement has never been more critical to an organization’s success. The Procurement Technology Summit will help you steer your organization through the current landscape and be better prepared for future disruptions.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (PRWEB) April 01, 2020
SIG, the premier membership organization for sourcing, procurement, outsourcing and risk executives, today announces that registration is open for its Procurement Technology Summit taking place entirely online May 11 to May 15.
SIG, known for its popular Global Executive Summits and Regional SIGnature Events, is well-regarded as a go-to resource for the procurement industry because of its unique blend of practitioners, service providers and advisory firms in a non-commercial atmosphere.
Procurement Technology Summit Event Format
Traditionally, SIG Summits were in-person events that had a capped attendance, but with the digital event, attendance is unlimited for all active SIG member companies and their teams. The format of the event will take place over the week of May 11 to 15 for a few hours per day so attendees can fulfill their daily work obligations while engaging in the event remotely.
“The role of procurement has never been more critical to an organization’s success,” said Dawn Tiura, President and CEO of SIG. “The current state of the world requires us to think differently about how we work with suppliers to smash sourcing bottlenecks and implement advanced technologies that streamline operations and mitigate risk. The Procurement Technology Summit will help you steer your organization through the current landscape and be better prepared for future disruptions.”
Join the Digital Adventure
The Procurement Technology Summit’s theme is “Join the Digital Adventure” because it enables attendees to explore the unknown and provides them with necessary knowledge and tools that procurement professionals need to overcome the challenges ahead. The interactive digital environment of the Summit will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions with live Q&A and a virtual Innovation Hall with platform demonstrations that showcase how artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotic process automation are transforming procurement and driving better outcomes for businesses. Spend Matters analysts will also be providing in-depth analysis of solution providers’ technologies.
Additionally, when SIG member companies register to attend, they can use their allotted Summit “seats” for a $1,000 credit to enroll in SIG University’s Certified Sourcing Professional (CSP) program. The CSP program is SIG University’s longest-running certification program and is recognized as the most well-rounded curriculum available for sourcing professionals.
The first 350 buy-side registrants will receive a #SIGventure Kit filled with fun swag and treats from SIG’s Summit sponsors. For more information, visit the Procurement Technology Summit website.
