MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (PRWEB) March 21, 2019 -- Beginning on July 26th, expert physicians from a wide array of pain management and neuroscience fields will gather for the event to discuss innovative treatments, alternative methods and state-of-the-art technologies in relation to pain relief topics.
Dr. Michael Esposito of Florida Pain Institute is an invited faculty member who will be participating as a panel speaker on several topics, including advanced interventional pain treatments such as Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) and Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) Stimulation for the treatment of painful nerve conditions.
- Specifically, Dr. Esposito will be discussing "DRG Stimulation: Lessons Learned, Advancing the Therapy and Expanding Indications." He will also be speaking about "Salvaging failed SCS Systems with new Waveforms, Targets and Frequencies."
- Additionally, Dr. Esposito will speak about new treatments for lumbar spinal stenosis in a session called "An Algorithm for Spinal Stenosis and Minimally Invasive Treatments including: Spacers, minimally invasive decompression and injections."
- Finally, Dr. Esposito will serve on the Young Innovators Panel to discuss how young physicians can continue to advance the field of Interventional Pain Management in order to best treat those who suffer from chronic pain.

ABOUT DR. MICHAEL ESPOSITO
Dr. Esposito has presented at numerous national anesthesia and pain medicine conferences, served as an instructor for multiple conference workshops and devoted his time to various local, state, national and international organizations. He has also spent time in our nation's capital discussing health policy with U.S. congressmen and advocating for patient safety with the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ Advocacy Division.
In addition to providing expert, personalized care for Florida Pain Institute patients, Dr. Esposito currently holds a position as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology in the University of Central Florida (UCF), College of Medicine.
