In her new position, Doucet will oversee all human resource operations within the growing Spire Hospitality portfolio.

As a VP of Human Resources, Doucet's 12 years with Omni Hotels & Resorts, she provided and implemented human resource direction for a vast organization of more than 50 Omni Hotels & Resorts. In addition to managing a team of more than 50 field Directors, Area Directors and corporate HR employees, Doucet served as a Steering Committee Member for the Hotel Industry Compensation Survey Group, whose purpose is to enhance human resource management professionalism within the hotel industry. Before joining the Omni team, Doucet spent nearly 25 years with Target Stores in both HR and Operations roles. Barbara was also invited to participate in a Subcommittee on Human Resources hearing for the Committee on Ways and Means, U.S. House of Representatives.
Doucet holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Edward's University, Austin as well as her SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. Outside of her professional development and career, Doucet is a founding member of Women with Promise, a non-profit organization supporting women and their families. She also serves as an American Hotel & Lodging Association Human Resources Committee co-chair.
