NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Splice, the music creation platform used by millions of artists and producers around the world, today announced the launch of Splice Create, a new music studio designed to help people turn ideas into tracks while developing their music production skills.
Built on Splice's extensive library of more than three million human-made, fully licensed sounds and samples, Create brings together the tools to make music with an agentic experience that helps people find sounds, experiment with new techniques, and explore ideas. Artists can make music on Create and retain ownership of their original creations.
Create is controllable by voice or text: use natural language to group drums, apply effects, and handle repetitive tasks that normally break the creative flow. Enable "Point Mode" and an interactive pointer will walk through the interface and teach creators new production techniques to add to their toolkit step-by-step.
Create taps into the full breadth of Splice's platform: an extensive catalogue of royalty-free sounds and samples, the highest quality virtual instruments from Splice INSTRUMENT, native integrations with VSTs, and the option to export audio for use with other DAWs. As with other Splice tools that leverage AI, Create conforms to the company's AI guidelines and principles.
"Most music tools either make the song for you, or assume you already know how to do everything. Create is different—it's a music creation studio that helps you make the music you want," said Kakul Srivastava, Splice CEO. "We're clearing a path so that anyone who has felt the pull to make music, but has felt blocked by the process, can get started and share their unique stories with the world through song."
Create was designed to fuel the creative process and put artists at the center of the experience. "I'd been messing with Innocent Smilefor years, added a break beat from Splice, and it came alive. Create gives people just starting out that same feeling, and you pick up how it works as you go," said Grammy-nominated MC and producer Skepta, who won the Mercury Prize with an album he released on his own label. "Big up Splice, always there to cook with, even on my way to Ibiza at 30,000 feet."
Create is now available in beta as a Mac app at launch, and free to get started. Ready to share a song? Sign up for a Create Pro subscription with special introductory pricing of $9.99/month at Splice.com.
