SportBox Entertainment Group Appoints FIFA Registered Intermediary Francisco Terreros as EVP
NEW YORK, NEW YORK (PRWEB) July 12, 2017 -- SportBox Entertainment Group has announced that Ōs Group Principal and FIFA registered intermediary, Francisco Terreros, has joined the agency and will serve as Executive Vice President. Terreros brings more than 15 years of sport and entertainment industry experience to the firm.
The Colombia native will lead the formation of a global soccer division, with talent representation and corporate and property marketing strategy as its core services. In addition, Terreros’ deep experience in multicultural marketing services will be added to the the agency’s overall client offering. He will be based out of the firm’s San Francisco office, with global jurisdiction and mandate.
“I’m thrilled to bring my passion for soccer and entertainment marketing to SportBox,” said Terreros. “I have been impressed by the trailblazing work this global firm has done in the sports industry in such a short time. The accomplishments of Ōs Group are perfectly aligned to add value to this increasingly impactful organization.”
Terreros began his career in 2002 at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. He then held marketing roles for Major League Soccer teams Real Salt Lake and Columbus Crew SC, pioneering the Hispanic marketing initiatives for both clubs. Terreros later created, negotiated and executed sports partnerships at Wells Fargo while simultaneously taking on roles within the social media department leading all sport sponsorship related campaigns.
Terreros most recently served as the Principal and Founder of Ōs Group — a sports marketing agency specializing in athlete management and marketing initiatives for brands and properties.
Aside from his professional career, Terreros has served as a philanthropist, giving back to the sport of soccer. In 2004, Terreros founded Hanging Cleats, a non-profit organization which helps underprivileged children use soccer as a tool to stay away from drugs and violence. Terreros is also a board member for Street Soccer USA — an organization that fights poverty and empowers underserved communities through soccer.
“Francisco brings a unique set of skills and experience that will help propel SportBox Group to even greater success on a global level,” said SportBox Group CEO, Danny Fritz. “He understands and believes in who we are as a company and that makes him the perfect fit to lead our soccer division.”
The leadership team expansion continues the trend of global growth and diversification for the firm. The past 12 months has seen the agency grow across all business verticals, including consulting relationships with brands such as Levelwear and Major Series of Putting, managing and operating PGA TOUR event properties, and signing new talent to its roster including CBS Sports personality Hana Ostapchuk and Olympian Samuel Girard.
“Our company continues to execute successfully against our growth plans and 2017 is no exception,” said SportBox Group Chairman David Dube. “Francisco joins a team of experienced and versatile leaders that continue to promote our expansion. With Francisco’s background and experience, SportBox Group is primed to extend its service offerings and exceed client expectations.”
