SportsSignup Expands Online Services to Include Integrated eCommerce Websites
Saratoga Springs, NY (PRWEB) March 27, 2014 -- SportsSignup, a national leader in online registration management solutions for sports organizations, today announced the launch of MySportsStore, an eCommerce website that integrates directly with the company’s popular online sports registration platform.
MySportsStore allows SportsSignup customers to securely manage and sell a variety of items online, typically to support the organizations fundraising efforts. With MySportsStore, sports administrators can list items for sale, including branded clothing, accessories, tickets to games/events, etc. – virtually any item that is on hand or to be ordered. Other features include tracking real-time inventory, assessment of sales tax (if applicable), fulfillment tracking, and the ability to set customized sizing, colors or other options.
MySportsStore is the only sports management solution that integrates sports organization merchandising with its online registration system.
“Most eCommerce websites operated by sports organizations experience low sales volumes because they are passive in nature, where members are responsible for locating the store and making a separate purchase, often on an unfamiliar and untrusted website. We’ve already proven that combining the shopping experience with registration and a single payment/checkout process can dramatically increase sales,” said Anthony Bruno, CEO of SportsSignup.
There's not any additional cost to SportsSignup customers to create and open a virtual store. A nominal fee is charged for each item sold.
An earlier iteration of MySportsStore offered merchandise for sale through an exclusive partnership with an apparel company. This release of MySportsStore has no restrictions on where the products/items are sourced by the organization. Using the software, administrators can manage their own merchandise online by creating product descriptions, uploading product photos, and allowing the items to be sold before, during, or after registration for the sports event or season.
“Our customers told us how important it was for them to have autonomy in where they purchased their goods and promotional items. They also told us how challenging it is to manage orders and inventory, especially when working as a volunteer. We saw an opportunity to use our technical expertise to address and solve these issues, and I’m delighted to offer this new service to all of our customers,” continued Bruno.
The company indicated that MySportsStore is immediately available. For more information about MySportsStore or partnering with SportsSignup for registration services, please visit http://www.SportsSignup.com.
