SportsTechX has announced the launch of SportsTechDB, a global database that provides high-value market intelligence for investors and professionals in sports and adjacent industries who want to explore the global SportsTech market and find the best startups and initiatives to engage with. SportsTechDB offers useful tools for SportsTech lovers who will no longer need to rely on their own spreadsheets or have to conduct tedious research - all of the information they need can be found in this new, comprehensive platform.
SportsTechX founder, Benjamin Penkert and Co-founder, Rohn Malhotra have been invited to speak and judge at industry events in over 10 countries, bringing along unique insights and perspectives on the global SportsTech ecosystem. Since 2017, the two have scanned thousands of startups and over 100 initiatives all over the world in order to provide SportsTech enthusiasts with data and insights in original articles, podcasts and, most notably, in industry-leading reports. Most recently, the company released the London SportsTech Report, adding to its library of regional data reports such as the European SportsTech Report and the North American SportsTech Report.
“SportsTech is such a fast growing segment with so much happening,” said Malhotra, “And with the database we aim to cut through the noise, to shine the spotlight on innovative solutions. The ability to filter startups by location, sports, sectors and other intelligent tags, we believe is really powerful.”
SportsTechDB was created with SportsTechX’s core mission in mind - to help promote, grow and navigate the global SportsTech ecosystem. SportsTechX will continue to work hard in highlighting SportsTech startups and covering current trends, accelerator and incubator programs, investors, experts, events, awards and other initiatives. All this happens with the goal of creating new connections, formats and projects in order to build a strong SportsTech ecosystem.
“We’re very excited about the launch of SportsTechDB, which will help to democratize access to SportsTech startups and initiatives on a global scale,” said Penkert, “We believe this platform was much needed in the SportsTech community and will give the ecosystem a chance to shine and showcase itself.”
The platform is available for free, with access to all startups and initiatives. For industry professionals and more advanced research needs, a paid pro version of the platform is available. In celebration of the launch, SportsTechX is offering special pricing for pro subscribers for a limited time. Sign up information about SportsTechDB can be found at sportstechdb.com.
