I have zero tolerance for suppliers engaged in egregious cyber-criminal activities or unable to consistently meet commitments.”

Enforcing a Just In Time (JIT) model eliminates 95% of suppliers that will never meet Pooki’s Mahi high standards. I replaced 95% of suppliers. Pooki’s Mahi JIT supply chain model enables fast inventory turns, flexible new product launches like the Kafpresso™ 100% Kona coffee capsules, and improve existing Kona KaKao™ 100% Kona coffee pods and Matcha Matcha Man® tea capsules. Pooki’s Mahi can react quickly to existing customer feedback. I will not consider firms unable to provide Pooki’s Mahi their company’s certificate of insurance, lacks technology platform to support established supply chain processes, or has less than two decades of coffee roasting, packaging or manufacturing experience,” explains the Silicon Valley technology executive.

Pooki’s Mahi Kona KaKao™ product line is made out of certified organic 100% Kona coffee injected into 100% recyclable capsules. 24 of 100% Kona coffee pods are packaged into an ecommerce approved packaging that protects the Kona coffee pods from dunnage and shipping damages. The costs to manufacture, fulfill and ship sustainable 100% Kona coffee pods significantly increased. The Silicon Valley technology firm already passes the cost to manufacture and ship the order to the customer.

Founder/CEO Leslie Magsalay-Zeller designed Pooki’s Mahi 100% Kona coffee pods with protecting the company’s brand, customer journey, coffee subscribers, and repeat customers using the original 1.0 single serve coffee makers in mind. The Silicon Valley technology exec was inspired by her time in Fortune 500 companies leading product launch teams. Efficient supply chains have a limit to containing the cost to manufacture, fulfill and ship environmentally friendly products. Producing sustainable coffee pods are expensive.
