SSL.com Digital Certificates Accepted by New Brunswick Power Corporation

On February 27, 2019 SSL.com was added by New Brunswick Power Corporation (NB Power) to their list of Authorized Certificate Authorities, thereby allowing the use of SSL.com’s digital certificates across all NB Power’s energy applications.

Following careful review and testing, SSL.com’s root certificate has been added to NB Power’s list of Authorized Certificate Authorities. This trust enables digital certificates issued from SSL.com to be used by transmission users to access a number of transmission services offered by NB Power including the following:

  • Dispatch
  • Outages
  • NBPC OASIS (including Nova Scotia Power (NSPI) OASIS)
  • Energy Scheduling
  • Metering
  • Settlement
  • Wind
