LOUIS, Sept. 23, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SSM Health Foundation - St. Louis, a non-profit organization established to support the services of SSM Health hospitals, will host its Hope Blooms Gala on Saturday, October 10 to raise funds for SSM Health Cancer Care. This year's event is a virtual celebration where benefactors, corporate partners, sponsors, and the public are invited to attend a transformative experience online. Those who are not able to partake in the evening festivities are encouraged to donate and/or bid on a silent auction item(s) to benefit SSM Health Cancer Care.
Funds from ticket sales, bids on silent auction items and other contributions will help to support clinical trials, enhanced patient care experiences, innovative treatments, and technologies, and more.
"This year's Gala is going to look different from our event in 2019, but our goal of providing help and hope to those who need it most has remained the same," said Paul R. Ross, President of SSM Health Foundation - St. Louis. "We chose the theme Hope Blooms because through innovative medical care, clinical trials, and steadfast health care provider support, hope truly does bloom for oncology patients. By making a gift, a donor can create hope. Through the lens of COVID-19, now more than ever, we need our community's support."
This year's Gala will include, sponsor recognition, video interviews, opportunities to donate, entertainment, and more. Each attendee will receive a thank you box delivered to their homes with a gourmet dinner and a bottle of wine to enjoy throughout the event.
