Its A2LA electrical scope, issued September 16, 2026, brings together emissions, immunity, automotive and radio test methods at the company's Laval, Québec laboratory. A2LA certificate 7352.01 is valid through August 31, 2028.
For product teams, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing is a critical step between a promising design and a product ready for its target market. For medical electrical equipment, the scope lists IEC 60601-1-2; for industrial and information technology products it includes relevant CISPR and IEC product-family methods. The applicable tests are determined by the product and its intended markets.
Wireless and radio testing
Stancer's accredited radio scope also lists test methods associated with FCC Part 15 intentional radiators, Canadian ISED RSS standards including RSS-Gen and RSS-247, and European ETSI methods including EN 300 328 and EN 301 893. Manufacturers developing wireless devices can therefore discuss EMC and radio test planning with the same technical team. Accreditation covers the testing activities identified in the A2LA scope; equipment authorization and market certification remain separate processes governed by the relevant authorities.
