New children's book encourages play; promoting fitness, teamwork and kindness
VAUGHAN, ON, Jan. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TV star, fitness expert, and healthy living advocate Lori Fetrick has taken the leap from the screen to the page, releasing her debut book, "The Playground Warriors: Ace & the Monkey Bars." The first in an upcoming series of books, this inspirational children's story shares the values of kindness, determination, and overcoming fear.
Ace and her dog, Koa, are off to the playground on a sunny day, ready for fun. When Ace decides to tackle the monkey bars, she imagines them as a test of her courage. She starts strong but slips and falls, scraping her knee. Unsure of what to do, she's quickly surrounded by her friends, the Playground Warriors, who rush to her side.
Joey, Miguel, and Roxy cheer her up with their energy and encouragement. Together, they create a plan to help Ace overcome the monkey bars. This uplifting story shows how friendship and teamwork can turn challenges into triumphs, inspiring kids to face their fears with confidence.
