The National Academic Advising Association is an association of professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators, and students who work to enhance the educational development of students. NACADA provides a forum for discussion, debate, and the exchange of ideas pertaining to academic advising through numerous activities and publications, including the NACADA Annual Conference.
Graham Tracey, Senior Director of Starfish Services, will present "Advisors: Lead the Student Success Revolution" at 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. MST on Monday, Oct. 1 in room N132A. The presentation will cover the transition that has taken place since the time that the student success revolution began in advising offices. Today, with increasing scrutiny on retention and graduation rates, equity, and career readiness, the stakes are higher. Now more than ever, advisors need to drive change across campus. Attendees of this session will learn how to lead the student success revolution beyond the advising office.
