Startup Boston, an organization offering groundbreaking events for the development and celebration of the innovators, entrepreneurs, and small business owners who push boundaries and solve tough problems, today announced the speaker lineup for its third annual conference. Designed to connect, educate, and celebrate Boston's startup community, Startup Boston Week 2019 will run from September 16-20 and offer more than 50 free events for a diverse range of startup players. Owners, managers, vendors and investors will share lessons learned, actionable best practices, and other valuable insights for inspiring creativity and strategic growth.

“Startup Boston Week is a remarkable whirlwind, jam-packed with actionable tactics for startup founders, funders, employees and business leaders,” said Bobbie Carlton, founder of Innovation Nights and Innovation Women. “It’s remarkable to see so many members of Boston’s tech scene come together to support one another’s growth and build community. Startup Boston Week brings together a diverse mix, including women, people of color, and others typically underrepresented in the industry. This ensures dynamic conversation and fresh perspectives.”

This year’s conference has been divided into eight tracks: Founders & C-Suite, Customer Success & Support, People Ops & Team Leaders, Sales & Marketing, Product & Design, Engineering, Startup Community, and Investors. Attendees are encouraged to either focus on one track or mix and match to customize their learning and networking experiences.

In its third year, Startup Boston Week is expected to draw thousands of attendees from the local startup community to more than 60 events, and is backed by support from program sponsors like Justworks, Brex, and Matter. Last year, the conference held 52 events, featured 165 speakers, and was attended by over 2,800 professionals. Organizers anticipate an even higher turnout this year in response to past years’ success stories and Boston’s booming startup scene.

“We’re taking Startup Boston Week to the next level in 2019 by actively connecting startups and entrepreneurs with the resources they need, while tying these efforts back to our broader community,” said Startup Boston Founder and Lead Organizer, Stephanie Roulic. “With the Startup Boston Week Dealflow Mixer, we’re inviting out-of-state investment firms to connect with Boston-based accelerators, startup advisors, and leaders from surrounding communities. Our Student Startup Fair will showcase college-aged entrepreneurs to support them in building local awareness around their startups. Each of these events help us bring in new voices to broaden our collective perspective.”
