Staypineapple, known for its fun and thoughtful approach to hospitality, is pleased to announce the promotion of Dina Belon-Sayre to Vice President of Real Estate Assets and Karla Sperber to Vice President of Human Resources
Dina began her career in the arts and design, transitioned into development and construction and eventually pulled it all together into multidisciplinary built environment expertise focused on sustainability. Belon-Sayre joined the Staypineapple family in September of 2016 as Director of Real Estate Assets. In her 3 years with the company, she has been responsible for ensuring the company's buildings provide an exceptional experience for the guests and employees. She has handled several renovations projects including the newest hotel, Staypineapple New York located in Midtown Manhattan.
Karla, a graduate of Western Washington University, has spent her entire career in the realm of human resources. Sperber has been with such companies as Trendwest, PACCAR and Oki Golf. She joined the HR team at Staypineapple in November of 2016 and quickly became the Director of Human Resources. Her years of training development, onboarding programs, and leadership have earned her this recent promotion.
Staypineapple uses Directors to lead companywide departments and to support Managers in their efforts to effectively guide their team members. Vice Presidents are then entrusted with multiple departments and large swaths of responsibilities. "Achieving a Vice President title at Staypineapple means you have earned the trust of our Executive Team to self-guide your areas of responsibility with very little guidance. You have proven yourself to be a highly competent professional capable of leading other leaders. These promotions are extremely well deserved. We look forward to seeing how their influence expands through-out the Staypineapple family as they grow accustomed to even greater autonomy." states Michelle Barnet, president of Staypineapple.
