In addition to ExactTech settings, 16.8 million colored illumination choices can be saved per profile; one profile saves directly on the mouse while an unlimited amount of profiles can be configured, assigned and saved through the SteelSeries Engine software.

The wireless functionality has a 1-millisecond response time, which means no detectable lag. On a full battery charge, the Sensei Wireless averages 16 hours of non-stop wireless gaming, and up to 20 hours for common gaming treatment. Users will appreciate mouse’s base station, which is its dock for charging, wireless transmitter and receiver as well as indicator for battery life, even when it’s off the base. It can be directly plugged into (via included USB connector) creating a wired mouse option as well as charge-and-play functionality.
