ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla., June 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Formerly known in the real estate community as My Florida Regional MLS, Florida's largest MLS recently underwent a major rebrand and launched as Stellar MLS on June 4, 2019.
Mindy Rovillo, who represents Stellar shareholder Pinellas REALTOR® Organization, will serve as the MLS's newly elected president for the 2019‐2020 term. Presiding over Stellar's board of elected volunteers, Rovillo and the board will govern the operations and policies of Stellar MLS as they explore solutions that will make the lives of brokers and agents easier and keep them at the center of the real estate experience. Stellar's volunteer leadership will also help guide the company in its expansion goals to extend their footprint inside and outside of Florida by connecting with like-minded MLS organizations and brokers.

Volunteer leadership positions on Stellar's board are more sought-after than ever, with multiple real estate professionals vying for several of the 2019-2020 officer positions this term. After a round of peer voting among the board, final officer candidates were elected, including:

President-Elect — Jeff Perry, Berkshire Hathaway

Treasurer — Rick Hemenway, Crosby & Associates, Inc.
